POSSIBLE CAUSES – 01
High voltage source not providing enough KV at charging electrode
SOLUTIONS
POSSIBLE CAUSES – 02
Poor ground
SOLUTIONS
Check fround from conveyor rail (or rub bar when used) through hanger to part. All contact areas must be free of powder buildup heavy grease and other insulating materials
POSSIBLE CAUSES – 03
power delivery(feed)rate is too high.
SOLUTIONS
reduce powder delivery rate until material is adequately charged.
POSSIBLE CAUSES – 04
Excessive moisture in powder booth air.
SOLUTIONS
Moisture in humid air will tend to dissipate the charge on the powder particles. Control the humidity in the powder spray area.
POSSIBLE CAUSES – 05
Powder too fine.
SOLUTIONS
POSSIBLE CAUSES – 06
Powder delivery air too high Powder blowing by part.
SOLUTIONS
Turn down air setting or move gun position farther away from part
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Powder delivery too low
SOLUTIONS
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Poor ground.
SOLUTIONS
Check ground.Refer to Section A, Trouble 1, Cause 2.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Incorrect powder spray pattern
SOLUTIONS
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Voltage too high.
SOLUTIONS
Turn voltage setting down so that surfaces closer to the gun do not repel powder from corners

Poor gun placement
SOLUTIONS
Adjust gun position so powder could has a direct path to recessed areas.
